A flexible API for displaying web content.
The Open Graph protocol provides developers and content authors with the ability to craft the appearance of their web pages on social media. This open specification has moved beyond social media, and is now a widely accepted standard for specifying content previews on the web.
The Clearview Social OpenGrapher uses this specification, and adds additional tags and formats for retrieving meaningful information from a web page. Even if your web pages don't use the Open Graph protocol, our API will be able to find useful information for display.
Customize our API for your content.
The Clearview Social OpenGrapher API can be customized to your blog. If you are not able to control the metadata that is displayed, that's ok! You can find the tags on your page that need to be ingested, and we'll take care of the rest.
In addition to supporting custom tags, we also support the following:
- Rendering of pages using a headless browser - great for JavaScript-heavy pages
- Rendering of pages through a proxy
- Setting custom User-Agent strings to allowlist on your firewall
